Preparation.

Ingredients For Chocolate Cannabis Cupcakes

Preheat your oven to 350° F, 180 C.

Place 12 cupcake liners onto a tray ready to fill and bake.

In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt, then, set the dry mixture aside.

In another large bowl cream together the cannabis butter and sugar.

Add the eggs, one at a time, beating the mixture until it’s smooth, even and creamy, then stir in the vanilla essence.

Now, add the dry mixture and the milk alternately to the creamed butter, eggs and sugar mix and beat until the mixture has a smooth and uniform consistency.

Spoon the mixture into muffin cups filling each one 3/4 full.

Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes or until a a thin knife can be inserted and comes out clean.

Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes then add your favorite frosting.

Chocolate Chip Cannabis Cookies

These Chocolate chip cookies are infused with Cannabis Butter making them a great edible way to enjoy your weed and get ‘high’. Very easy to make, requiring little skill or few ingredients. A great way to get a daily dose without the need for smoking.

Preparation.

Recipe For Chocolate Chip Cannabis Cookies

 

Preheat your oven to 350 or 175 degrees C.

Beat the pre-prepared Cannabis butter, and both brown and white sugar in a large bowl until it forms a creamy, smooth mixture.

Mix in the eggs, one at a time, add the vanilla extract or essence and stir.

Dissolve the baking soda (powder) in a small amount of water, add the salt and stir into the mixture.

Add the flour, chocolate chips and walnuts (if required) and mix well.

Spoon small ‘golf-ball’ sized amounts onto a greased baking tray and flatten with the back of a spoon.

Bake in the pre-heated oven for approximately 10 minutes.

Remove, allow to cool on a wire tray, serve and enjoy.

Banana and Cannabis Muffins

These quick and easy to make Banana and Cannabis muffins are an absolute delight, moist and fluffy with a subtle banana flavour and relaxing, euphoric high. Great for easy baking, requiring little culinary skill, these muffins are great for people who wish to consume their Cannabis without burning or smoking it.

 

Preparation.

Ingredients For Banana and Cannabis Muffins

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease 10 muffin cups, or line an individual cake tin with muffin papers.

Mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a large bowl

Using another bowl, beat together the bananas, sugar, egg and melted Cannabis butter.

Add the banana mixture to the flour mixture stirring constantly

Spoon the cake mixture into the prepared muffin cups.

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour and cinnamon. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, and mix until it resembles breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this topping over the banana and Cannabis muffins.

Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes.

To check the muffins are fully cooked, push a thin skewer or sharp knife into the top, pushing it down through the centre. When removed the skewer should be clean with no signs of mixture remaining

Cannabis Butter

Many of the recipes in our cooking with Cannabis section require an amount of Cannabis butter. This can be made in advance and then stored for a few days ready for use. If you don’t plan on using the Cannabis butter for a week, it is better to freeze it in an air tight container for later use.

Preparing and making Cannabis butter is quick and simple, requiring very little equipment or cooking skill. Once prepared, it can be used as the basic ingredient in a wide number of the recipes we will be promoting in future posts.

Items and Ingredients

Making Cannabis Butter

 

Large Saucepan with fitting lid
Boiling water
500 grams (1 block) unsalted butter
7 grams high quality bud or 1oz of shake (low grade)
Large spoon

 

Preparation.

  • Boil the water in a reasonable sized pan, once boiling add in the butter, which will melt quicker if you chop it first.
  • Bring the water and water to the boil so as the butter is completely melted, then turn the heat down to minimum.
  • Add in the Cannabis, dry and finely chopped and simmer on a low heat for an hour.
  • After an hour remove from the heat and allow to cool a little, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour all the warm liquid through a small mesh strain, such as cheesecloth, collecting all the liquid in a clean container.
  • Allow the liquid to cool completely, separating the butter from the water.
  • Once completely cooled, cut the top layer of butter away from the water and store in an air-tight container for later use.

Cannabis Milk

There are a variety of Cannabis milk recipes that use anywhere from ½ ounce to 3 ounces of cannabis per 1 gallon of whole milk. The potency depends on the concentration of cannabis and the amount used as your essential ingredient. The amount of cannabis in the recipe below is just a suggestion and can be modified according to your personal dosage.

Items and Ingredients

Large saucepan
1 pint of whole milk
An eighth of an ounce or 3.2 grams of dry cannabis (finely ground)
Cheesecloth or straining bag
Large spoon
Tupperware or plastic container with fitting lid
rubber band (one that will stretch around the rim of your Tupperware.)

Preparation.

  • Pour the pint of milk into a saucepan and place on a medium heat, do not bring to the boil.
  • Finely chop your dried Cannabis and add to the warmed milk, stirring gently.
  • Cover the saucepan with a lid and simmer gently for an hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Cover the container with cheesecloth, and pour in the Cannabis and milk mixture.
  • Repeat straining through cheese cloth or bag until all plant matter is removed.
  • Once completely strained, cover with a tight fitting lid and keep in the refrigerator for later use.
